Ich hab den Vorfall mal etwas recherchiert. Scheint etwas länger (9 Jahre) her zu sein. Unter dem Video auf Youtube steht folgender Kommentar:
"This is MY daughter, Michelle Greenfield. She still has PTSD since that day, Oct 29, 2014. And, yes, she does have permanent nerve damage in her hand. She drops a lot of things because she has lost feeling in her hand. Her Corgi, Harley, went steadily downhill health-wise & we had to put Harley to sleep May 2018. Harley was never the same happy, lively dog after this horrific attack. Harley stayed overnight at the vet clinic the night of the attack. The vet said that the thick, padded nylon harness/vest that Harley was wearing saved her life. There were many puncture wounds inflicted through the vest, but because it was thick, the pitbull was not able to rip Harley's flesh off her body. The compassionate vet tended Harley through the night & installed drains. The vet did not charge for his services, just for the meds. During the attack, witnessed by my 98yr old Mom who had Alzheimers & was on coumadin, the owner of the pitbull, before running off screamed, "OH NO!!! NOT AGAIN!!" So, evidently this was not the first time this pitbull attacked. The owner of the pitbull ran... abandoning her dog. If that pitbull had attacked my Mom, my Mom probably would have bled to death before medical help would have arrived. Being on coumadin, my Mom wouldn't have stood a chance if the pitbull had attacked her"
Kann man glauben, oder nicht. Klingt für mich aber glaubwürdig.
Viel erschreckender ist, wie viele ähnliche Vorfälle man beim googeln findet...
