  • Just a dog

    From time to time, people tell me, “lighten up, it’s just a dog”, or, “that’s a lot of money for just a dog”. They don’t understand the distance traveled, the time spent, or the costs involved for “just a dog”. Some of my proudest moments have come about with “just a dog”. Many hours have passed and my only company was “just a dog”, but I did not once feel slighted. Some of my saddest moments have been brought about by “just a dog” and in those days of darkness, the gentle touch of “just a dog” gave me comfort and reason to overcome the day. If you, too, think it’s “just a dog”, then you will probably understand phases like “just a friend”, “just a sunrise”, or “just a promise”. “Just a dog” brings into my life the very essence of friendship, trust, and pure unbridled joy. “Just a dog” brings out the compassion and patience that makes me a better person. Because of “just a dog” I will rise early, take long walks and look longingly to the future. So for me and folks like me, it’s not “just a dog” but an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the fond memories of the past, and the pure joy of the moment. “Just a dog” brings out what’s good in me and diverts my thoughts away from myself and the worries of the day. I hope that someday they can understand that it’s not “just a dog” but the thing that gives me humanity and keeps me from being “just a human.” So the next time you hear the phrase “just a dog”, just smile, because they “just don’t understand”

  • Wer von euch aus Potsdam, Teltow, Blankenfelde o. Ä......

    kann mich zeitweise unterbringen?


    Hallo erstmal liebe Leute,


    ich will mich ab Oktober 2011 gern bei der IHK Potsdam zur
    Hundeerzieherin und Verhaltensberaterin fortbilden. Der Kurs geht von
    10/2011 bis 04/2013.


    Der Veranstaltungsort wird in Teltow sein und für einige praktische
    Module in Groß Kienitz bei Blankenfelde.


    Darum suche ich händeringend nach einer Wohnmöglichkeit dort oben. Ich
    bin da gar nicht anspruchsvoll und wäre total glücklich, wenn mir
    vielleicht jemand ein Zimmer, eine Gartenlaube, einen Keller usw. für
    die Zeit bereit stellen könnte?


    Komme aus Bayern und muss dann alle 1-2 Monate für 5-7 Tage nach
    Potsdam.


    Freu mich auf eure Antworten.

  • Hundepension Schleusenkate

    Hab lange nur ein paar wenige Kilometer von Heiligenhafen entfernt gewohnt.


    Die Hundepension dort ist in Ordnung.
    Oder sagen wir so, was besseres im Umkreis zu finden, ist unwahrscheinlich, hatte auch immer recht Probleme mal was zu finden. Denke für einen Tag ist Hundi dort gut aufgehoben.


    Ein Zoo ist nur in Gettorf (Tierpark Gettorf), ca. eine Stunde entfernt. Oder halt in Hamburg der Große Zoo.
    Sonst gibt es nur kleinere Wildgehege bzw.- parks.


    Fahrt mal an den Eitz, Steilküste beim Weissenhäuser Strand, wunderschön, vor allem auch mit Hund.

  • Meine Moorschnucken

    Aufregend und zuckersüß!
    Finde es erstaunlich, dass jedes Schäfchen seinen Namen hat und wohl auch jedes Lamm noch einen bekommen wird und am Erstaunlichsten, dass du die alle noch behalten kannst!


    Gibts dann legga Osterlamm? :p

    Danke für die Aufdeckung des Fehlers ;-)
    Ne, meinte mit kastrierten Rüden ist alles tutti, warum das un davorgekommen ist, weiß ich nicht.


    Mit längerer Zeit meine ich, dass beim Spazieren ein Vorbeigehen unproblematisch ist. Auch ein Miteinander gehen.


    Jedoch auf engem Raum, wenn es um Ressourcen geht, da mukkt er dann schon mal rum. Und das möcht ich ja nicht, ohne das ich das mitbekomm. Es sei denn, ich kann der Person wirklich dolle trauen, dass sie das gut regeln kann.
